Abstract

In recent times, the alarming incidents of fires and explosions causing significant damage to both property and human lives have raised concerns. Currently,
many fire alarm systems operate independently without any monitoring system, and local monitoring centers are not connected to the supervisory center of the
managing unit. The ability to detect the malfunction and instability of fire alarm devices for timely inspection, maintenance, and replacement is severely limited.
To solve this problem, the author researched and designed a remote automatic fire alarm and monitoring system for civil works. The system is built including a
monitoring center and terminal sensor equipment. The monitoring center is built with the option to use on a computer or smartphone device. Terminal sensors
are popular fire detectors on the market that are integrated with data receiving and transmitting modules. The system can remotely monitor fire alarms and the
operating status of fire detectors. This system has practical significance for units and organizations involved in fire extinguisher.
