Abstract

Denim clothes used the weft elastic core spun cotton yarns have high
application value, especially good elasticity, good size stability and comfortable
feeling for the wearer. This paper investigated the effect of warp yarn density on
the horizontal elasticity of elastic denim fabric with the weft elastic core spun yarn,
which has the same material composition and other technological parameters. The
results showed that, the lower the warp density, the better the horizontal elasticity
of the fabric. The extension by the load and the 85% tensile force before being
washed is lower than after being washed, thus the residual elongation before being
washed is higher. This research is the scientific basis for selecting suitable textile
technology parameters for finishing processing technology and design technology
of sewing products using stretchy denim fabric.
