RESEARCH THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL CAPITAL AND SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE

Abstract

In competitive markets, the supply chain faces different changes in the
business environment. Previous studies have shown that social capital is an
important factor which can help firms adapt to the changing conditions of the
business environment. Developing on this argument, this study focuses on the
impact of social capital on supply chain resilience under environmental
changes. This paper is based on quantitative approach to analyze the data of
216 firms in Hanoi, the test results show that three dimensions of social
capital have a positive impacts on supply chain resilience. Since then, the
study proposes a few sugestions to improve supply chain resilience.
