Abstract

Evaluation of some physical and mechanical properties of Pe/Co woven
fabric before and after water resistant finishing was studied through the use of
Pe/Co blended fabric before and after water resistant finishing treatment. The
fabric samples before and after the water resistance finishing treatment were
tested: Method of taking test samples according to TCVN1749: 1986; determine
the tensile strength and elongation of fabrics according to TCVN1754-75;
determination of the recovery from creasing of fabrics according to ISO 2313;
determine the size change after washing and drying of fabrics according to TCVN
8041:2009; determine the capillary of the fabric according to TCVN 5073-90;
determine the breathability of the fabric according to TCVN 5092: 2009. Research
results show that some mechanical properties of the fabric before and after
finishing water resistance treatment have changes in the warp direction and in
the horizontal direction.
