ANALYSING OF THE PROCESS OF REMOVING HEPATIC TUMOR CELLS BY HEAT USING ELECTRIC PRODE

Abstract

In this study, the process of removing hepatic tumor cells by heating which
generated by electric prode was analyzed by finite element method. The
strength of the finite element method is that it can simulate heat problems and
other problems simultaneously (known as multiphysics problems). A 3D model
of hepatocytes with electric prode generating the heating is considered in this
study. The purpose of the analysis was to determine the temperature
distribution during the process of removing cancerous tumors from healthy
tissue by heating. The obtained results can help us to adjust the input
parameters to optimize the process of removing cancer cells by the heat without
damaging the healthy cells surrounding the tumors.
