FACTORS AFFECTING CREDIT QUALITY IN VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMMERCIAL BANKS

Abstract

The study aims at (1) identifying factors affecting the quality of trading in Vietnam commercial banks; (2) analyzing the influence of these factors on credit quality at banks. To achieve this goal, the author has used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods through SPSS 22.0 software. Research results show that 08 factors affecting the quality of credit are arranged according to the degree of diminishing impact, namely Credit officers, Credit policies, Management capacity, Banking technology, Credit process, Risk management, Organizational work, Mobilized capital. Accordingly, the author proposes  solutions to improve the quality of credit in Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank.
