FACTORS AFFECTING THE INTENTION TO USE CHATGPT IN STUDY AND RESEARCH OF STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DANANG
Abstract
This research applies the expanded framework of the Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model to examine the factors that influence the intention to use ChatGPT of students of The University of Danang in their study and research. Regression results on data collected from 300 students indicate that six out of eight factors in the model - namely Facilitating conditions, Social influence, Privacy concerns, Habit, Personal innovativeness, and Perceived interactivity - direcly influence the intention to use ChatGPT of students of The University of Danang, while two factors including Performance expectancy and Effort expectancy have insignificant impacts. Practical implications derived from the results are also discussed in this research.
