Abstract

In the context of higher education reform and the increasing demand for practice-oriented training, Project-Based Learning (PBL) has gained growing attention. This paper presents the implementation of the PBL approach in the Capstone Project course for E-commerce students at the University of Economics - The University of Danang. Based on a university-business collaboration model, students are tasked with developing an online business model and completing it through group-based activities. The study employs a quantitative survey method using a questionnaire comprising 15 criteria to evaluate course content, competency development, and student satisfaction. Survey results indicate that PBL positively contributes to enhancing students’ critical thinking, communication skills, and self-directed learning ability. Based on these findings, the paper proposes several recommendations to improve the effectiveness of practice-oriented teaching.
