MOTIVATION TO CONDUCT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN VIETNAMESE STUDENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF INNOVATION
Abstract
The study objective is to evaluate the factors affecting the motivation of Vietnamese students to conduct scientific research, considering the role of artificial intelligence (AI) regulators. The results of quantitative analysis with primary data collected from 923 students at universities in Vietnam show that the factors of instructors, research environment, training programs, awareness of research experience, innovation capacity, AI tools influence students' motivation for scientific research. In
particular, the biggest influencing factor on students' motivation for scientific research in the survey scope is the innovation capacity. From these results, certain implications will be suggested to contribute to improving student scientific research activities in Vietnam.
