VIETNAM'S AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS EXPORT TO THE EU MARKET IN THE CONTEXT OF GREEN TRADE BARRIERS
Abstract
In recent years, the EU has always been considered as a potential export market for Vietnamese agricultural products. In particular, the EVFTA officially took effect, opening up many great opportunities for Vietnam's agricultural exports. However, the trend of increasing green barriers in trade, with the goals of sustainable development and protection of the ecological environment, has caused many major obstacles for Vietnam's agricultural products when joining this market. Through secondary data sources and qualitative research methods such as statistics, synthesis, comparison, contrast, ..., the article analyzes the current situation of Vietnam's agricultural exports to the EU market in the context of green trade barriers. The research results show that green barriers tend to continue to increase in recent years, and green barriers have both positive and negative effects on Vietnam's agricultural exports.
