The worship of Đô Bác Trịnh Phủ Military Deity is a distinctive cultural and religious practice along the Ma River, particularly in the Trịnh family’s ancestral areas of Sóc Sơn and Biện Thượng. Rooted in local agricultural traditions, it often reflects clan-based worship and, in some locations, is combined with veneration of folk deities or historical figures who have entered popular consciousness. Some practices also incorporate fertility elements. This makes the phenomenon especially interesting for studying the religious life of Ma River communities in Thanh Hoa. Research on Trịnh Ra offers important insights into the historical and cultural contexts of these sacred legends and worship sites.

THE CREATIVE ROLE OF THE STATE IN DEVELOPING THE CULTURAL INDUSTRY ECOSYSTEM: THE CASE OF SOUTH KOREA AND IMPLICATIONS FOR VIETNAM

In the context of cultural industries becoming key growth drivers, the state’s role as a developer of the ecosystem has gained increasing attention. The paper examined South Korea’s state-led development of the cultural industry ecosystem using the developmental state framework and business ecosystem approach. The study identified three main roles of the state: (1) institutional architect - establishing legal frameworks and long - term strategies; (2) development sponsor - mobilizing public investment and social resources; and (3) intersectoral coordinator - linking stakeholders through specialized agencies. Drawing from Korea’s experience, four policy recommendations for Vietnam are proposed, including legal institutionalization, creation of coordinating bodies, dedicated financial mechanisms, and systematic investment in intangible ecosystem actors.

Traditional sports are physical activities closely linked to community life, shaped and preserved based on natural conditions, ecological environments, and the cultural characteristics of ethnic groups. In Thanh Hoa, traditional sports are diverse, reflecting local cultural identity and playing an important role in the spiritual life of the people. However, the preservation and development of these sports still face many limitations and challenges. Therefore, researching, systematizing, and proposing suitable solutions are necessary to protect cultural values and promote the sustainable cultural and social development of the province.

This study evaluated the current activities of student sports clubs at Thanh Hóa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and proposes solutions to improve their effectiveness. The findings indicated that enhancing management mechanisms, upgrading facilities, developing the coaching staff, and organizing regular sports competitions are crucial measures for boosting the performance and efficiency of student sports clubs. These interventions aimed to foster greater participation, skill development, and the overall quality of extracurricular sports activities, contributing to a more vibrant and effective sports culture within the university.

Ba Bể Lake, located in the heart of Ba Bể National Park in Thái Nguyên Province, is one of Vietnam’s unique natural wonders. With its vast water surface, rich primary forests, and diverse flora and fauna, the lake attracts many visitors. The local ethnic communities living around the lake have created distinct eco-cultural values. Promoting these values not only helps protect the environment and local culture but also provides a solid foundation for sustainable and green tourism development. This study identifies the eco-cultural values of the Ba Bể Lake area that can be utilized for tourism and proposes strategic solutions to develop green tourism sustainably.

MOTIVATIONS FOR CULTURAL EXPERIENCE AMONG YOUNG TOURISTS IN LAM DONG IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

This paper explored the motivations behind cultural tourism experiences of young visitors in Lâm Đồng and analyzes the relationship between expectations formed in digital spaces and actual on-site experiences. Using in-depth interviews with young tourists and digital ethnography of cultural tourism content on social media, the study identified four main motivational factors: exploring local identity, seeking emotional experiences, expressing uniqueness, and sharing experiences online. The research also highlighted a significant gap between digital expectations and the current state of cultural tourism products in Lâm Đồng, suggesting implications for personalized and interactive cultural tourism development in the digital era.

ENHANCING GREEN TOURISM EFFECTIVENESS THROUGH LESSONS FROM THAILAND’S “7 GREENS” MANAGEMENT MODEL

This study analyzed Thanh Hoa’s heritage in the context of digitalization and tourism, examining achievements, challenges, and causes. Using an interdisciplinary approach, it proposes solutions to improve heritage databases, enhance digital interpretation, develop digital cultural tourism products, and strengthen collaboration. Effective digital transformation requires balancing authenticity, data management, and transforming cultural values into meaningful tourism experiences.

The research highlights the artistic and ideological significance of his portrayal of women through an intercultural lens.

IDENTIFYING THE STRUCTURE OF THREE - WORD VIETNAMESE IDIOMS

This paper examined three-word Vietnamese idioms from the perspective of formal structure to identify their organizational features and the mechanisms of meaning formation. The results showed that, despite their short length, three-word idioms are organized according to specific rules, with each component not only serving a structural role but also directly contributing to representation, reflecting Vietnamese thought, culture, and community life experiences. The meaning of these idioms cannot be reduced to a simple additive combination of their elements; rather, it is constructed through the interaction between linguistic form and cultural depth. This study helped clarify the structural characteristics of Vietnamese idioms within a systematic analytical approach.

ENHANCING COLLABORATIVE PERFORMANCE SKILLS WITH BANDS FOR VOCAL MUSIC STUDENTS AT THANH HOA UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

The ability to perform collaboratively with a band is an essential competence for vocal music students in artistic performance contexts. This paper examines the role and current state of collaborative performance skills between vocal music students and bands. The findings indicate that although vocal music students have had opportunities to engage in practical performance with bands within the training program, such opportunities remain limited. Based on these findings, the study proposes several solutions to enhance training quality and to improve the professional performance competencies of vocal music students at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

THE IMAGE OF WOMEN IN VIETNAMESE REVOLUTIONARY SONGS: ARTISTIC VALUE AND IMPLICATIONS FOR VOCAL TRAINING OF MUSIC MAJORS

This paper examined the portrayal of women in Vietnamese revolutionary songs and its significance for teaching vocal performance to music students. Analyzing the characteristics of revolutionary songs and selected works, it identified key representations of women: heroic figures in the resistance, emotionally devoted and sacrificial women, and industrious participants in nation-building. The study also explored the artistic value of these songs through melody, lyrics, and expressive potential in vocal performance. Incorporating these songs into vocal training enhances students’ technical skills, expressive ability, artistic sensibility, and understanding of Vietnamese culture, history, and national traditions.
