Interest plays a particularly important role in human activity in general and in scientific exploration of the surrounding environment in particular. Maintaining interest in 5-6-year-old children is essential across all activities in preschool settings. Among these, scientific exploration of the surrounding environment is especially effective in helping children sustain their interest in an enthusiastic and voluntary manner, express their attitudes, emotions, and behaviors through active participation, and proactively raise questions to understand and explore objects and phenomena. This forms the basis for intellectual operations and contributes to children’s comprehensive personality development. However, the application and use of measures to maintain children’s interest through organizing scientific exploration activities still face many limitations. This article therefore proposes several measures to maintain the interest of 5-6-year-old children through scientific exploration activities in preschools in Tuyen Quang Province.
