Abstract
Infrared spectroscopy (IR) is a modern analytical technique used to identify the structures and functional groups of compounds. Infrared spectroscopy has been integrated into the Chemistry program under the 2018 general education curriculum to foster students' competency development through scientific and practical learning activities.
This paper focuses on the development and implementation of a system of infrared spectroscopy exercises for teaching Chemistry according to the 2018 general education curriculum, aiming to enhance students' ability to apply knowledge, foster scientific thinking, and improve problem-solving skills.
