Similar points between the Russian Federation and Vietnam in the process towards a circular economy

Abstract

The Russian Federation, as well as the whole world, is experiencing a gradual transition from the traditional linear economic model to an alternative category: the circular economy. This transformation is a new, principled approach to production, consumption and business activities, in which waste is considered an asset and resource. In the article, the author discusses content related to the main tasks and principles of the circular economy, issues and favorable and difficult factors that Russia is interested in in the process towards circular economy, as well as the similarities of the process with Vietnam.
