Application of information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment

Abstract

The application of information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching and educational management is becoming an inevitable trend in the education sector, especially in higher education. This study aims to assess the impact of information technology and artificial intelligence on teaching quality and the change in lecturers' roles. The study used qualitative data collection methods from surveys and interviews with 50 lecturers and 200 students at the Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment. The results showed that information technology helps improve interaction and access to learning materials between lecturers and students. Most teachers are very interested and want to be able to apply modern information technology devices to enhance the quality of lectures and help students receive lessons more quickly and effectively. However, the application of artificial intelligence is still limited. The study contributes positively to improving the quality of teaching and personalized learning.
