6. Research on theoretical and practical bases to enhance environmental responsibility in aviation passenger terminal construction projects
Abstract
Environmental responsibility has increasingly become an essential factor in managing construction projects, particularly for large-scale infrastructure such as airports. This paper elucidates the concept, role, and implications of environmental responsibility from both legal and corporate governance perspectives. It analyzes the regulatory frameworks of Vietnam and international standards, while also compiling typical environmental impacts associated with the construction of airport terminals. International case studies are cited as concrete examples demonstrating the effectiveness of integrating environmental responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle. Based on this analysis, the paper provides scientific and practical arguments to guide the enhancement of management capabilities and the implementation of environmental responsibility solutions within the construction industry.
