ASSESSMENT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF DECENTRALIZATION OF CARING PATIENT IN THAI BINH GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2016

Abstract

Objectives: The purpose of this research is to assess the result of Implementation of Decentralization of caring patient in three departments: Department of Cardiology, Department of Trauma and Burn, Department of Oncology. Subjects and methods: A retrospective study was carried out on 315 medical files of inpatients in three Departments in Thai Binh General Hospital from 7-9/2016. Results: The degree of decentralization of caring patient were highest in the Department of Oncology and the Department of Cardiology (85,4% and 85,7%) and lowest in the Department of Trauma and Burn (43,9%). The patients had the proper decentralization to the degree of diseases were highest in Department of Oncology (93,4%) and lowest in Department of Cardiology (83,3%). There was no significant difference in proportion of patients had the decentralization appropriate to the degree of dependence in three departments. The patients had decentralization appropriate to the situation of diseases were highest in Department of Trauma and Burn (82,9%) and lowest in Department of Cardiology (75,2%). Conclusion: There was 70 percent of patients were provided caring services from the first, regularly and appropriately to the degree and situation of diseases. The hospital need the unification and establishment of the final Instruction of Decentralization in caring patient to improve the quality of health care services.
