CAREER EXCELLENCE OF ORIGINAL NURSE AT NATIONAL HOSPITAL OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY IN 2022

Abstract

Objective: To survey the level of occupational burnout of operating room nurses at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2022. Methods: Using a cross-sectional descriptive study method on 63 nurses. Describe the degree of occupational burnout using the Maslach occupational burnout syndrome (MBI) scale. The study used the MBI scale according to the standardized version in Vietnam after research on clinical nurses, including 3 items: Emotional exhaustion, negativity and reduced personal achievement (work efficiency). Results: The percentage of nurses with occupational burnout was 19.0%. Of which 39.7% are emotionally exhausted; 47.6% negative burnout and 76.2% decrease in personal achievement. In terms of emotional exhaustion: The highest rate was 22.2% of nurses feeling that every day was used up at the end of the working day; 17.5% of nurses feel tired every day when they wake up in the morning and face the next day of work (17.5%). On the negative side of exhaustion: 12.7% of nurses every day worry that this job will harden me emotionally; 12.7% of nurses feel they are overworked every day. Conclusion: Nursing burnout is moderate. However, component burnout remains high
