Abstract

Objectives: To describe some clinical signs and related factors for patients with alcoholic psychosis with dominant delusions and hallucinations undergoing inpatient treatment at Nam Dinh Psychiatric Hospital in 2021. Subjects and Methods: Cross-sectional description was implemented among 75 patients diagnosed with alcoholic psychosis, paranoid, hallucinogen predominance being inpatient treatment at Nam Dinh Psychiatric Hospital from April 2021 to October 2021. Results: Patients with hepatitis or cirrhosis were 30.67%. 80% of patients were admitted to the hospital with untidy clothes, less pink skin and mucous membranes or scratches. Patients admitted to the hospital in a state of behavior disorder: walking disorderly, agitation (94.7%); 100% of patients have emotional disorders. 68% of patients had delusions of being harmed; Jealousy delusions (18.7%). Nervous system disorders - signs of tremor in the hands and feet encountered with frequency (76%). (98.7% of patients ) showed signs of poor sleep, unable to sleep; 70.7% of patients were in a state of eating and drinking upon admission. Cardiovascular disease, blood pressure is more common in patients with alcohol consumption time ≥ 15 years. Conclusion: The age group with the highest percentage was the working age. Patients with hepatitis or cirrhosis account for a higher rate (30.67%) than other body diseases. Most of the patients admitted to the hospital in a state of emotional disturbances (100%), behavior (94.7%), memory loss, tremors (76%), poor eating....
