Clinical evolution of the patient after oocyte retrieval under intravenous anesthesia at Tam Anh General Hospital
Abstract
Objectives: Describe the clinical evolution of patients after oocyte retrieval under intravenous anesthesia at Tam Anh General Hospital. Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study using the VAS pain scale and PADSS system considering 5 criteria: vital signs (pulse, blood pressure), movement, nausea/vomiting, pain, bleeding to evaluate patients. Hospital discharge was performed in over 200 patients after oocyte retrieval under intravenous anesthesia at Tam Anh General Hospital from June 2022 to May 2023. Results: Consciousness, blood pressure, and motor indicators were all stable at T8; 93 cases can be discharged from the hospital when scores at 2 times T7, T8 = 9 and motor score = 2; 107 patients were discharged from the hospital after 2 hours. Conclusion: The PADSS scale was a safe scale to evaluate patients discharged from the hospital. After discharge, the patient has almost no complications requiring hospitalization
