The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be time-varying and norm-bounded. The jumping process is driven by a discrete-time Markov chain with finite states and its transition probability matrix is partially unknown. Sufficient conditions are established in terms of tractable linear matrix inequalities to ensure the closed-loop system is robustly stochastically stable.
Nguyen Trung Dung Bản quyền (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113977 Fri, 06 Jun 2025 03:30:43 +0700 CONFIDENCE INTERVAL OF LIFE EXPECTANCY ESTIMATE https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113976
Concerning the local parametric estimation method, a novel method of life expectancy estimation, the article uses the bootstrap method to evaluate this method in extensive experiments with real-world datasets. The diffusion behaviors of sodium atoms in a fixed Si-O network have been assessed by analyzing both the mean square displacement of sodium atoms and the number of O coordination of sodium atoms. The results show that the diffusion behavior of sodium atoms is governed by the rate of change in their oxygen coordination number. These findings are of significant importance in finding novel structural characteristics of MMA materials that exhibit complete absorption of electromagnetic waves within the K band frequency range (18-27 GHz). The chemical structure, morphology, and thermal properties of lovastatin-carried biocomposites were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The results revealed that among the CsCLP biocomposites synthesized, the sample CsCLP1955 with 5% wt. of PANi possessed the best dispersion of lovastatin (with the smallest particle size) in the composites. It also showed the smallest melting point (164.8oC) and the most uniform morphology. The ability of biocomposites to release lovastatin in buffer solutions was investigated by UV-Vis spectroscopy analysis. It was found that this ability increased with the presence and the content of PANi in the composites. The information on morphological characteristics, sexual dimorphism, length-weight relationships, and condition factors for this freshwater sleeper have been described based on samples collected in Northern Vietnam. The specimens were identified at the species level based on morphometrics combined with the fin, scale counts, and the head lateral line system. To distinguish between both sexes in this species, five morphometric characteristics such as snout to 2nd dorsal fin origin, snout to anus, eye diameter, pelvic-fin length, and pelvic fin origin to anus have been used. The b was higher than the isometric value of 3 indicating in both sexes (3.457 for females, 3.439 for males, and 3.443 for all), and this species revealed a positive allometric growth through the length-weight relationships, which was found to be highly significant. For the first time, the obtained K values and the LWR for this species revealed no significant variation between males and females. Specifically, female cicadas rely on the fluctuation of spectral and temporal properties of males’ songs for species recognition and pair formation. However, the structure of the advertisement song is often arbitrarily determined without proper delimitation criteria. Here, a new method for analyzing song structure was proposed which relied on fluctuation of spectral properties. First, time series of peak frequency and amplitude envelope were obtained from recorded songs. Then, a simple linear regression model based on those two time-series was tested for consistency of regression coefficients. This method was applied in analyzing advertisement songs of Hyalessa maculaticollis, a common cicada species whose advertisement songs contain multiple modulations in spectral properties in East Asia. Males of H. maculaticollis produced songs in separate phrases in which one phrase was equivalent to one complete song and they also changed their calling perches from tree to tree in between songs. One phrase of H. maculaticollis was divided into four main parts, in which the first two parts were repeated alternatively and the last two were produced once at the end. The proposed method suggests an effective objective way of analyzing acoustic characteristics of songs, especially for those animals with complex structures.
Nguyen Quynh Hoa, Sungmin Ji, Jaeyeon Kang, Vy Thi Ha My, Yikweon Jang Bản quyền (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113961 Fri, 06 Jun 2025 03:53:03 +0700 THE STUDY ON SPECIES COMPOSITION OF MAYFLIES (EPHEMEROPTERA: INSECTA) IN TAM DAO DISTRICT VINH PHUC PROVINCE https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113960
Based on a field survey in December 2021, the present study has recorded 45 species, 28 genera, and 8 families of mayflies in Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province. Overweight/obese students scored significantly higher on CEBQ subscales related to Food Responsiveness (FR), Emotional Overeating (EOE), and Desire for Drinks (DD), while scoring lower in Satiety Responsiveness (SR). Linear regression analysis demonstrated that higher scores on FR, EOE, and DD were associated with a 1.59 to 1.69 times higher risk of overweight/obesity, while a higher SR score was associated with a reduced risk (OR = 0.61; β = -0.5; P = 0.009). However, in terms of the drought degree, during the winter period (from November to February of the following year), this is a drought period throughout the study area with a K value ranging from 1 to 3.9 with 2 classes: mild drought, and moderate drought. The extreme drought years often coincide with the years of strong El Niño. The drought regionalization for Thanh Hoa province was built based on statistical processing of drought degree for each meteorological station in the area, and criteria for determining drought seasons and the number of months with significant drought frequency ≥ 30%. The results divided Thanh Hoa province's territory into 3 drought classes: mild drought, moderate drought, and extreme drought. The results of the assessment of meteorological drought in the Thanh Hoa province are the scientific basis for the arrangement and conversion of crop structure in agricultural production and making an important contribution to the prevention and mitigation of drought hazards.
Hoang Luu Thu Thuy, Tong Phuc Tuan, Nguyen Thanh Co, Do Thi Van Huong, Vuong Van Vu, Tran Thi Mui, Le Duc Hanh, Pham Thi Cuc Bản quyền (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113953 Fri, 06 Jun 2025 04:00:54 +0700 THE SOFTWARE SUPPORTING SEMI-QUANTITATIVE SOIL CLASSIFICATION OF VIETNAM https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113952
Soil classification is essential in mapping soils, land evaluation, and sustainable soil usage. Nowadays, along with the Industrial Revolution 4.0, there is an interest in the development and promotion of information technology in classifying soils. This paper aims to introduce the software supporting soil classification of Vietnam (ICSM) according to the semi-quantitative soil classification system of Vietnam and to apply it to classify the BTGD-06 soil profile as a pilot example. It consists of three main components: (1) Menu and toolbars, (2) Tabs to input data, and (3) suggesting and identifying blocks. It was also applied successfully to classify five soil profiles in Vietnam and illustrated by classifying the soil profile BTGD-06. The results of the trial classification are the same as those published in the Journal of Vietnam soil science about the diagnostic horizons, soil group, soil type, soil subtype, and soil variety. The algorithms used in developing the software can be used to write other quantitative soil classification software worldwide.
Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Ngo Dang Tri Bản quyền (c) https://vjol.info.vn/index.php/DHSPHN-KHTN/article/view/113952 Fri, 06 Jun 2025 04:01:33 +0700
