Abstract

Coastal plain of Ha Tinh province has nearly 137km long coastline, an area heavily influenced by the natural conditions, which must include the sea-level rise due to global climate change. The impact of sea level rise is most clearly shown by the phenomenon of saltwater intrusion, here, many areas of land are increasingly narrowing salinization of arable land caused great impact on people's daily lives and reduce the volume and quality of fresh water on earth, especially the possibility of saltwater intrusion sea water into the aquifer in Quaternary sediments. Before a potential risk of rising sea levels, researchers have applied the method to calculate the model for the region. The results were evaluated in the paper is the level of groundwater salinization in Quaternary sediments in areas with medium emissions scenario (B2) for the typical year 2020, 2030 and 2050, the object projected reported that the transformation of the country's total mineralization.
