Study on the effects of mix design on the lightweight concrete properties using Keramzit aggregate

Abstract

    This work aims to study the properties of lightweight concrete using Keramzit aggregate and the effect of mix design (W/C ratio, fine and coarse aggregate content) on concrete properties. Experimental program were conducted on a variety of lightweight concrete aggregates, including slump, density, compressive strength. Understanding these properties helps to find out the appropriate method of mix design and the proportion of material components suitable for lightweight concrete
