Identifying risk elements in building road transport works in Viet Nam

Abstract

       In Vietnam, the number of risk factors in the construction projects - or road traffic construction projects in particular - has been gradually increasing in recent years. Therefore, Risk Management in road traffic construction projects lies among the top prioritized objectives, which avoids unwanted loss and damage, hence increase profits and productivity. From then on, Risk management also helps to ensure the projects implementation progress, without any unnecessary delay; Quality assurance, cost - saving and later-exploitation quality. The article aims at providing an overview of risk and risk management in the construction project of road traffic in the world and in Vietnam; Identification of risk factors in construction of road traffic in Vietnam with a view to be utilized for future research.
