The experiment was designed according to Taguchi's method with drying parameters including drying temperature (t), drying agent velocity (V), infrared radiation distance (H). As a result of multi-objective optimization by RSM response surface method, optimal drying parameters were obtained for good quality dried Stolephorus commersonnii, short drying time and energy saving. Specifically, the optimal drying parameters for dried Stolephorus commersonii are determined as follows t = 47,35 oC, V = 1,73 m/s, H = 30 cm, IP = 1000 W, relative humidity of the air drying φ = 15 ÷ 17%, drying time τdying = 126 minutes.
2023-04-06T12:21:56+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Thermal Energy Reviewhttps://vjol.info.vn/index.php/HKHKTNHIET/article/view/77973Current operation management of gas-fired combined cycle power plants and challenges due to their changes in operation 2023-04-07T04:24:26+07:00Vu Tran Giang NamVutrangiangnam@pvpower.vn
At present, PV Power is a leading company of Vietnam in the field of gas-fuelled power investment and production with its current four gas-fired combined cycle power plants that include Ca Mau 1, Ca Mau 2, Nhon Trach 1 and Nhon Trach 2. These factories have been put into commercial operation for over 10 years. In this article, major results and experiences of operation and maintenance of these power plants were elaborated. Some challenges when switching these plants into a so-called “flexible operating mode” were also identified in the article.
2023-04-07T04:24:25+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Thermal Energy Reviewhttps://vjol.info.vn/index.php/HKHKTNHIET/article/view/77983Current status of operation, utilization of ash, energy efficiency measures and emission reduction from circulating fluidized bed power plants 2023-04-07T04:44:47+07:00Pham Xuan Phongtapchinangluongnhiet@gmail.com
The article summarizes the current operation, ash management and utilization, energy efficiency measures as well as major emission reduction techniques currently used in some CFB power plants under VINACOMINPOWER.
2023-04-07T04:44:45+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Thermal Energy Reviewhttps://vjol.info.vn/index.php/HKHKTNHIET/article/view/77987Studying the impact of flame temperature adjustment at the nozzles on the efficiency and operating quality of the pulverized coal fired boiler with w-shaped flame 2023-04-07T08:04:34+07:00Mai Van Longmaivanlong@pvpower.vnHoang Thanh Dungmaivanlong@pvpower.vnNguyen Van Minhmaivanlong@pvpower.vnTran Quynhmaivanlong@pvpower.vnHa Huy Hoangmaivanlong@pvpower.vnDuong Ngoc Minhmaivanlong@pvpower.vnPham Van Baumaivanlong@pvpower.vnNguyen Van Tanmaivanlong@pvpower.vnDam Quang Huymaivanlong@pvpower.vnNguyen Xuan Thuongmaivanlong@pvpower.vnNguyen Xuan Quangquang.nguyenxuan@hust.edu.vn
Pulverized coal fired boiler with W-shaped flame is a common type of boiler used in Vietnam for Anthracite coal that have low volatiles content, difficult to ignite and longtime of complete combustion period. With many nozzles arranged on both sides of the furnace wall in the downward direction to form a W-shaped flame in the combustion chamber, this structure allows prolonging the retention time of coal powder particles inside the combustion zone of the combustion chamber for competed combustion purpose. However, the uneven operation of the nozzles can form an uneven temperature zone inside the combustion chamber that causing slag formation and uneven heat exchange in the boiler's riser tubes. The article studies the effects of adjusting the flame temperature balance at the nozzles on the combustion process and the efficiency of the boiler for the appropriate boiler tunning. The tunning results show the ability to improve boiler efficiency and reduce slag dropping that affects the normal operation of the furnace.
2023-04-07T08:04:30+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 Thermal Energy Review
