The influence of damage on the Vibration spectrum of a beam subject to random moving load

Abstract

The research show the changes of power spectral of a beam structures subjected to a random moving load. Then presented an damage detection method of bridge beams. The damage of the beam is performed by changing the stiffness (the cut). These features extracted from changes in value of the spectrum to be used to identify damage. Experimental test is performed based on vibration signal of a metal beam un der a random moving load, in the laboratory of Applied Mechanics (LAM) of the University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh city
