UNITY IN DIVERSITY OF VIETNAMESE CULTURE FROM THE ANGLE OF DAIVIET-CHAMPA CULTURAL INTEGRATION

Abstract

Vietnam is one of the multi-ethnic nations with a culture deeply imbued with unity in diversity. This type of unity in diversity results from a long process of historical development, becoming a precious cultural heritage in need of careful preservation. From the viewpoints of historical and cultural sciences, the paper focuses on the analysis of the unity in diversity of Vietnamese culture from the angle of Champa cultural intergration into Dai Viet culture since the 19^th Century. Since then, Champa culture becomes a member living harmoniously in the big family of Vietnamese culture.
