INNOVATION OF THE CONTENTS AND TEACHING/LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN KOREAN STUDIES AT VNU UNIVERSITY OF LANGUAGES & INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
Abstract
Using available data from books, newspapers, Internet, combined with different research methods such as a survey with 286 students, this article focuses on two issues: (1) current situation of teaching and learning Korean Studies at VNU University of Languages and International Studies (VNU-ULIS); (2) solutions to promote the activities of teaching and learning Korean Studies at VNU-ULIS on the basis of application of Constructivism and student’s desire. Recommendations from the study include surveying before and after applying teaching - learning activities, customizing knowledge content to each group of learners, combining many teaching - learning activities. In addition, this article designs sample teaching-learning activities that can be applied to the subject of Korea Country Studies.
