Abstract
The article briefly introduces some contents in the interpretation education process in China, including the context of the formation of interpretation education in China, changes in the positioning of the translation science, training programs, curriculum, teaching staff and methods, and testing and evaluation. The method of chronological description reflects changes in every aspect, affirming the development and perfection of interpretation education in China. The article aims to make comparisons with the situation of translation training in Vietnam, suggesting the formation of an independent training major of professional translation education which is a common practice in the world.
