THE CHARACTERISTIES OF THE FORMATION OF FISHERY WORDS IN THANH - NGHE - TINH

Abstract

According to the concept of determined professional word, the article shows that the structure of fishery word in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh have their own features; no alliteration, small number of single word and high number of compound word, of which almost 99% is distributed meaning compound. That creates the semantic characteristics of fishery word in Thanh - Nghe - Tinh: the individuality, the specificity and the high differentiation. The polysyllabic units of three or more syllables have loose structure and naming following the description of phrases. There are four models of forming word, of which the dialect or the national language combined in different ways.
