THE FEATURE OF VOCABULARY OF CHILDREN FROM THE AGE OF 2 TO 3

Abstract

Children  from  2  to  3  years  old  have  perceived  quite  many  vocabularies  and know  how  to  use  them  to  make  sentences  to  communicate  with  other  people.  Not  every children  at  this  period;  nevertheless,  has  the  same  features  of  vocabulary.  Besides  the invidual's  power  of  linguistic,  the  process  of  forming  vocabulary  of  children  has  been influenced directly  by their  families, schools and society. By conducting a  survey of  more than 100 babies (50 boys and 50 girls) from 2 to 3 years old in Thai Nguyen and Lang Son province, our article shows the features of children's vocabulary in the field of quantity and word structures. According to this survey, we want to offer some strategies to help children at this period develop thei r own vocabulary effectively.
