PROMOTING ICT LESSON PLANS THROUGH TEACHING CHINESE READING SKILL
Abstract
It is noticeable that reading comprehension in Chinese language has played the most significant role, as it offers a great deal of knowledge such as vocabulary, grammar structures and essential expressions to develop other skills. However, most students find reading comprehension very boring and think that the lessons are not interesting and lively enough. This is a seri ous issue and it has become my major concern since I started teaching reading. In my research paper, some pedagogical recommendations are presented to improve the teaching methodology of reading comprehension, to promote and increase the effectiveness of I CT (Information and Communication Technologies)lesson plans. It is hoped that the pedagogical recommendations will make great contribution to the teaching and learning of Chinese reading comprehension .
