Evaluating The Implementation of Land Use Planning to 2010 in Bac Giang Province

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study land use situation and to evaluate the implementation of adjustments to land use planning at provincial level in order to identify shortcomings and their causes, then proposing solutions to improve the ability of implementing land use planning towards 2010 in Bac Giang. With systematic approaching method and other methods such as statistics, general analysis and processing the research showed that by 2007 Bac Giang' current land use is compared to planning as follows: agricultural land 101.36%, non-agricultural land 97.97%, unused land 96.16%. Besides, there is a situation of land redundancy and insufficiency for non-agricultural business, construction of industrial areas and urban residential land. To comply with land use planning it is necessary to strictly obey legal regulations on planning adjustments; to increase investment capital; to improve the quality of land use planning and the management of planning implementation.
