ASSESSMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND USAGE OF FORESTRY LAND IN QUY NHON CITY, BINH DINH PROVINCE
Abstract
The paper assesses the current situation of management and usage of forest land as a basis for proposing solutions to improve the efficiency and management of forestry land in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. The paper uses 4 methods, namely Data collection, Comparison, Evaluation of the effectiveness of state management and forestry land use, and Data analysis and processing. With the land area for forestry, accounting for 41,5% of the total natural area, the management of forestry land in Quy Nhon city is currently facing numerous difficulties because of the complex level of present fluctuations. The analysis of documents collected from localities and surveys of people and officials in the city reveals that the quality of work performance of cadastral officials in communes and wards is effective and positive. In addition, the summary of each criterion of the state management of forestry land shows that the criteria have a fairly good general score, in which the establishment of working maps and cadastral records management, land evaluation, and land pricing scores the highest rating with 3,39 points. From the average annual benefit-cost ratio (BCR), it can be seen that the economic efficiency of forestry land usage in Quy Nhon has a high level with an average BCR ranging from 1,58 to 1,74. The research shows that the effectiveness of forestry usage in Quy Nhon is relatively high.
