Model and Policy Recommendations for Private Sector Development in Viet Nam (part 1)

Abstract

Vietnam's economy has slowly lost its momentum since 2008, and this has had a strong impact on Vietnam's private sector. However, in this difficult period, the private sector of Vietnam has also shown great vitality and flexibility. This article assesses the current state of the private sector and recommends this model of regional development in the time to come, in line with the process of developing a modern market economy in Vietnam.
