Bài viết trình bày khái niệm bình đẳng giới và những thành tựu nổi bật trong thực hiện bình đẳng giới ở Việt Nam (5 thành tựu lớn) cũng như những tồn tại chủ yếu và nguyên nhân (5 tồn tại). Cuối cùng đưa ra quan điểm, mục tiêu và giải pháp thực hiện bình đẳng giới đến năm 2020 ở Việt Nam.
