Abstract

In general, the equitization of state-owned enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City is not on schedule according to Decision No. 26/2019/QD-TTg dated August 15th, 2019 of the Prime Minister. In fact, the process of equitization of state-owned enterprises has encountered many difficulties and challenges in recent years, such as: Approval of land use plans when equitizing enterprises in which the State holds 100% of charter capital in the period 2016-2020; The handling of financial problems in enterprises before equitization; Reviewing the land area of equitized enterprises that have been transformed from state-owned enterprises... On the basis of the SOE equitization over the past time, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has made a number of recommendations to remove difficulties and obstacles, thereby promoting equitization process in the coming time.
