Abstract

The legal framework and regulatory documents on appraising activities in Vietnam have been relatively complete. However, due to the quick development of economic and financial activities, the development of the appraising sector becomes overheated making policies and laws unparalleled and leading to some inadequacies in appraising activities. To solve the bottlenecks in appraising, it is necessary to improve the legal framework in the direction of improving the credit assessment mechanism for appraisers and firms; reviewing and supplementing regulations on handling violations of appraisers and appraising firms, etc.
