Abstract

This paper proposes a novel algorithm, which can be used for state monitoring and protection for distribution grids connected to the distributed generation by a hybrid method that based on the variation of farameters (OUV, OUF, VJ), and total harmonic voltage (THDv) to reduce the non-detection zone (NDZ) when the islading-condition occurs at the point of common coupling (PCC). The simulated results of test case on the Matlab/Simulink enviroment have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
