A SENSING MODULE DESIGN FOR GARNET TYPE MAGNETO-OPTICAL CURRENT SENSOR

Abstract

Mangeto-optical current sensors (MOCS) possess a numberous prominent advantages to ease technical inherent disadvantages of traditional induction-type current transformers. advantages to ease technical inherent disadvantages of traditional induction-type current transformers. This paper proposes a garnet-based sensing module design for Garnet type MOCS. Experimental results of its various important operating characteristics are proved its excellent charactersistics.
