CALCULATING THE OPERATING TEMPERATURE OF SOLAR PANEL BY HEAT TRANSFER METHOD

Abstract
Renewable energy will be substituting fossil energy sources in sustainable development. Solar energy
is a renewable energy source, the most common uses are: generate electricity, heat water,
illuminate exterior areas, etc. Solar panels produce electricity from solar radiation, it is one of the
most popular applications. The efficiency of solar panel depends on many factors including the
operating temperature. This paper presents calculating the operating temperature of solar panel by
heat transfer method. Thereby, we can be determined temperature of the layers, and also
understand the heat transfer mechanism in the panel.
