Global experiences and Agribank’s solutions in minimizing impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has severely affected the domestic and foreign economies, including the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of
Vietnam (Agribank). Agribanks has learned from experiences of the Governments, central banks and agricultural banks in some Asian countries
with the main purpose to lessen the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. With the timely responses of the Government of Vietnam and the State
Bank of Vietnam to cope with Covid-19, Agribank also implemented a relevant credit policies to support customers, changed and adapted to the new situation. Moreover, Agribank has contributed many practical solutions in the Post-Covid-19 transformation period giving recommendations to the
Government and the State Bank of Vietnam when building policies.
