HOUSEHOLD’S LIVELIHOOD STRATEGY FOR CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION IN THE NORTH CENTRAL COAST

Abstract

Abstract: Climate change adaptation is one of Vietnam's strategic goals to proactively and effectively adapt, reduce vulnerability, loss and damage caused by climate change, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions under the net zero emissions target in the future. In particular, localities and people directly affected by climate change impacts need to take advantage of opportunities from climate to transform livelihoods and improve adaptive capacity of livelihood resources. This paper presents recommendations on livelihood strategies for households living in the North Central Coast to achieve these goals.
