Abstract

Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan are provinces with quite complicated meteorological conditions, always face a harsh climate, floods in the rainy season, prolonged droughts in the dry season, and severe heat and dryness that greatly affect agricultural production. Evaluation of climate characteristics, agro-climatic conditions, adverse weather and natural disasters in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces. The article systematically evaluated the scientific and agricultural conditions in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan including light conditions with the total number of sunny hours in the year about 2,879.8 - 3,105.9 hours.
The average annual temperature is 26.7 - 27.3oC. The monthly temperature range is from 6 - 8oC, the annual temperature range is about 6.8 - 7.5oC. Total annual heat ranges from 319.9 - 328.1oC . Rainfall 838.5 - 1,639.1 mm but rainfall is unevenly distributed throughout the year. Accumulated rainfall at the beginning of the season, at the end of the season, the probability of 2 - 3 wet and dry weeks has shown quite clear rules about the distribution of rain in the year. These results are an important scientific basis for agricultural production planning, crop restructuring, and disaster mitigation in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
