Abstract

Genetic relationship of nineteen soybean accessions provided by Research Institute of Oil and Oil Plants were analyzed for development of cross materials using 25 RAPD primers. Overall, 17125 markers used in this study revealed Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) values from 0,11 (RA40) to 0.60 (RAI59). Three primers (OPBIO, RA159, and RA32) showed a high level of polymorphism, with PIC values " 0.5. The number of DNA fragments amplified ranged from 2 to 13 per primer. Soybean accessions from the same selected source were clustered in one group, for instance, two accessions OMDN3-21 and OMDN23-5 from Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute were genetically differed at aboui 7% (I - 0.93). Especially, soybean accessions having an ability to resist biotic factor, such as HL92 (resistant to leaf curl and addlediTuit) and HLZ03 (resistant to mainly insect) were located in the minor c1us!ering group 11/ that belonged to major group II. They were differed from each other at the about 0.114 (1 - 0.883). Two accessions MI03 (resistant to heat) and DT84 (resistant to cold and immerge) were located in the minor clustering group II belonged to major group II have the genetic dissimilarity at about 8% (I - 0.918). The obtained results showed the possibility for development of cross materials from investigated soybean accessions.
