Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out rice genotypes for salt tolerance with high yield, good grain quality in field conditions. The experiment was arranged by randomized complete block design, 3 replicates, 7 treatments with 5 rice mutated lines (NQBĐB 1-2-1-1, NQBĐB 2-1-6-3, NQBĐB 1-2-1-2, NQBĐB 2-1-6-2, NQBĐB 1-2-3-1) and the sensitive control was IR28, the local control was OM4900. The results of experiment clearly showed that two lines TG1 (NQBĐB 1-2-1-1) and TG4 (NQBĐB 2-1-6-2) were the greatest. TG1 line with yield 4,47 tons/ha, amylose content 16,78%, protein content 7,49%. TG4 line with yield 4,67 tons/ha, amylose content 15,42%, protein content 5,58%. The two lines had short maturity (96 days), could tolerate to 8,15 dSm-1 in field conditions, adapt with the model of shrimp-rice at coastal areas.
