Condensation reaction of 3-amino-3-arylpropanoic acid and indanone derivatives with arylcarbaldehyde.

Abstract

To obtain new potentially bioactive agents, in particular antispasmodic like Baclofene, a serie of 3-amino-3-arylpropalnoic acids has been synthesized during our work. In this framework, we implemented the condensation reaction of these aminoacids with different arylcarbaldehyde (benzaldehyde and thiophene-2-carbaldehyde). In parallel, condensation between the indanone derivatives and benzaldehyde has been improved.
