Abstract

This article presents the results of research on shaft alignment and
vibration during the rotary friction welding process on the VLUTE A01 welding
equipment. The shaft concentricity error of the VLUTE A01 friction welding
machine is mainly vertical, the horizontal error is low, but the error range is
quite large. The measured oscillations in different states are studied
experimentally. In particular, the focus is on the origin of the vibrations
formed during the welding process. The graph shows the level of vibration
that occurs during the rotary friction welding process. When two welded parts
begin to contact, the vibration increases and decreases suddenly. In the
remaining stages of the welding process, the measured vibration values are
quite stable, within the allowable range.
