MANUFACTURE AND ANALYSIS OF CERAMIC TILES USED SUGAR CANE BAGASSE ASH MATERIAL

Abstract

Sugarcane bagasse after being baked at 1000⁰C for 2 hours is used to replace feldspar part in the manufacture of ceramic tiles. Based on the analysis criteria such as surface quality, water absorption, thermal stability, long thermal expansion coefficient of the manufactured tile samples, it is possible to replace 20% feldspar in ceramic raw materials from ash bagasse has been heat treated to make tiles similar to ceramic tiles with quality assurance.
