Abstract

Starting up a business plays an important role in the economic development
of each country. This research aims to provide empirical evidence on the effect of
factors (personal experience, risk-taking - aspects of entrepreneurial bias) that
influence the intention to start a business of young people (students) based on
321 student sample survey data. Applying the quantitative method, the results
of the analysis showed that there are six factors (attitudes, subjective standard,
behavior control awareness, risk, opportunity to experience, education
environment, majors, gender) affecting the intention of students to start a
business, in which the factor Risk has negatively and strongest impact.
